A rich, savoury cheddar cheese with hints of caramel. A slightly crunchy texture denotes the crystals which are the crystalised clusters that form during it’s 18-month maturation process. Local milk from the free-range grass-fed cows is used by the master cheese makers at Belton Farm.
It recently received a gold medal in its first competition at the British Cheese Awards, Somerset.
