Spring is on the way and although there is yet more worrying times, we are trying to remain positive and excited about some new products in the pipe line.
I think after Christmas everyone gets a little ‘hampered out’ so, for valentines, we put together a gift box which was incredibly popular, we received some super feedback too. For Mother’s Day, as it is just around the corner, we have made up a gift box containing a selection of cheese to suit all palettes, we are also working with Three Wrens gin to include two of their most popular miniature bottles (original and bison) or a 37.5cl bottle of prosecco.
The box includes Organic Bath soft cheese 225g, Sunday Best 250g, Capricorn goats’ cheese 100g; in addition to these there is a 200g pear conserve and oatcake biscuits. The cheese easily serves 2-3 people. Priced at £30.00.
How about trying our ‘cheese tray’ a tray which doubles up as a cheese board!
Serving 8-10 people this will sure to be a wow factor to present at the end of Mother’s Day Sunday lunch, the cheese on the tray include: -
Sunday Best Lancashire 250g, Appleby coloured Cheshire 400g, Smouldering Ember 400g (smoked red Leicester) Dovedale Blue 400g.
In addition to this lovely hand-picked selection of cheese, there is a juicy Dotatto fig, grown in Southern Italy, picked from the trees when they are plump and ripe, the fruits are dried and then slowly caramelised in their own juices for 18 hours after this time, they are wrapped in fig leaves and slowly baked.
The fig ball and the pear conserve are also sold separately priced at £8.15 each and £4.35 respectively.
Finally, a new Yorkshire Wensley
dale in stock, priced at £2.05 each, 200g, they are made by Hawes and are superb, quite a creamy texture, not too crumbly, tangy and very moreish.
