£2.75

A soft washed rind cheese  made in the regions between Alsace, Lorraine and Franche-comte in France. Also known as Munster-Gerome, named after the little town called Munster where the abbeys and monasteries made this cheese since the middle ages.

Munster is a pale yellow cheese with an orange rind which is formed from the colouring which is added during the cheese making process. The taste varies, it can be mild or sharp.
